The silver and gold female Hattian statuette on the left resembles the elongated marble idol figurines from the Cycladic Islands of the Aegean Sea. The metal work of this figure resembles other third millennium B.C. Anatolian pieces such as the stag pictured on the cover. The ten inch statuette was found in a tomb at Hasanoglan, a city near Ankara.
