George H. Forsyth

George H. Forsyth (d. 1991) was a Professor Emeritus of the History of Art and Research Professor Emeritus of Archaeology at the University of Michigan. In the Alexandria-Michigan-Princeton Archaeological Expedition to the Monastery of Saint Catherine at Mount Sinai (1958–1965), Professor Forsyth was responsible for recording and study of all the architecture in the monastery and the figurative sculpture in the church.
