POTTERY POTPOURRI. The cultural hybridity of Khirbet al-Ra‘i is especially evident in the admixture of ceramic remains preserved there. Typical Philistine pottery, such as this characteristic and beautifully decorated bichrome sherd, was found in close association with Canaanite pottery of the same period.
