ENGAGING NEW AUDIENCES. Erika Brown, a doctoral student in biblical archaeology at Lipscomb University, has built her brand around her Just So You Know YouTube channel. In a hip, modern, and accessible manner, she presents and discusses a wide variety of archaeological discoveries that are relevant to our understanding of the biblical text. Brown represents not only the emergence of a new generation of archaeologists, but also the increasing ethnic and gender diversity of the discipline as a whole.
