SARDINIANS ABROAD. Traces of Sardinians in the eastern Mediterranean include their characteristic pottery and weapons. At the major Cypriot site of Hala Sultan Tekke, for instance, archaeologists found several Sardinian everyday bowls known as Nuragic Gray Ware that date from the 13th century.
