Alan F. Segal

Alan F. Segal (d. 2011) was a Professor of Religion and the Ingeborg Rennert Professor of Jewish Studies at Barnard College. His books include Rebecca’s Children: Judaism and Christianity in the Roman World (Harvard University Press, 1986) and Sinning in the Hebrew Bible: How the Worst Stories Speak for Its Truth (Columbia University Press, 2012).
