Dewey M. Beegle

Dewey M. Beegle (d. 1995) was a Professor Emeritus of Old Testament at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. Before Beegle began his long and distinguished career in the ministry and in academia, he worked as an elementary school teacher in Washington State and as an immigration inspector in San Francisco. Beegle has excavated at Shechem, Gezer and Heshbon and has published numerous books, including Prophecy and Prediction (Pettingill, 1978).
