Douglas A. Knight the Drucilla Moore Buffington Professor of Hebrew Bible and a Professor of Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He is author of several works including Law, Power, and Justice in Ancient Israel (Westminster John Knox Press, 2011).
