F. F. Bruce

F. F. Bruce (d. 1990) was the Rylands Professor of Biblical Criticism at the University of Manchester, England until his retirement in 1978. He wrote over 40 books and taught at the University of Edinburgh, University of Leeds and University of Sheffield as well as receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Aberdeen. He is one of the only people to ever serve as President to both the Society of Old Testament Study and the Society of New Testament Study.
