Gary Beckman

Gary Beckman is a Professor of Hittite and Mesopotamian Studies at the University of Michigan. Previously, he has taught at Yale University, Northeast Normal University (Changchun, China), Beijing University, the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey). He has also served as the President of the American Oriental Society and is one of the leading scholars on Hittites.
