George Wesley Buchanan is Professor Emeritus of New Testament at the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Born on Christmas day 1921, Buchanan is the author or editor of more than 15 books and serves on the Editorial Board of Biblical Archaeology Review.
