Jan P. Fokkelman

Jan P. Fokkelman lectures at the State University of Leiden in the Department of Hebrew, Aramaic and Ugaritic. He has published a four volume study of the books of Samuel, Narrative Art and Poetry in the Books of Samuel (1981-1993), as well as a four volume study of Hebrew poetry, Major Poems in the Hebrew Bible (1998-2004).
