Jelle Zeilinga de Boer

Jelle Zeilinga de Boer is the Harold T. Stearns Professor Emeritus of Earth Science at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. A specialist in the geotectonics of the Appalachians, Southeast Asia, and South and Central America, he is the author of Volcanoes in Human History: The Far-Reaching Effects of Major Eruptions (Princeton University Press, 2004).
