Linda Maria Gigante

Linda Maria Gigante is a Professor Emerita of Art History and Humanities at the University of Louisville, Kentucky.  Among her recent publications are entries on cinerary urns, perspective, and funerary art and for The Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Greece and Rome (2010).  The epitaphs she has catalogued from the Ballard Thruston collection have been added to the US Epigraphy Project of Brown University.
