Marvin H. Pope

Marvin H. Pope (d. 1997), author of the Anchor Bible’s Job (1965) and the award-winning Song of Songs (1995), was the Louis M. Rabinowitz Emeritus Professor of Semitic Languages and Literature and professor of Near Eastern languages and civilizations at Yale University.
