Matthew Black

Matthew Black (d. 1994) was an Emeritus Professor at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and an eminent Bible scholar.  Among his many publications was a translation and exhaustive textual study, The Book of Enoch or 1 Enoch (Leiden: Brill, 1985).
