Paul L. Maier

Paul L. Maier is the Emeritus Russell H. Seibert Professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan University. In addition to his translations Josephus: The Essential Works and Eusebius: The Church History, he has written two historical novels—Pontius Pilate and The Flames of Rome (all published by Kregel), a best-selling theological thriller—A Skeleton in God’s Closet (Thomas Nelson, 2012) and three children’s books.
