Philip R. Davies

Philip R. Davies, a Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies at the University of Sheffield, was editor of the Journal for the Study of the Old Testament and the author of over 50 articles and numerous books on the Hebrew Bible and ancient Israel. He is closely tied to the Copenhagen school of Biblical minimalism.
