Sandra Richter

Sandra Richter is professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College in Illinois where she teaches courses ranging from archaeology to Biblical Hebrew. She is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Harvard University’s Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. Among her many scholarly interests is the Book of Deuteronomy, for which she is currently writing a commentary in Eerdman’s Two Horizons series. She also frequently lectures about the Biblical world in university, church and public settings, including BAS’s Bible and Archaeology Fest.
