Schlomo Moussaieff

Shlomo Moussaieff (d. 2015) is an antiquities collector who owns perhaps the largest andimportant collection of Biblical artifacts in private hands. He received an honorary doctorate from Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv and was honored by scholars with a festschrift Shlomo: Studies in Epigraphy, Iconography, History and Archaeology in Honor of Shlomo Moussaieff, edited by Robert Deutsch (Archaeological Center Publications, 2003).
