Simo Parpola

Simo Parpola is a Professor of Assyriology at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He is a Research Associate and Consultant for the Chicago Assyrian Dictionary and published numerous books and articles on a wide range of topics, including Mesopotamian science and astrology, Assyrian history, royal ideology and religion and ancient Near Eastern geography.
