Simon B. Parker

Simon B. Parker (d. 2006) was a Professor of Hebrew Bible at Boston University’s School of Theology. Many of his numerous publications deal with Ugaritic language and literature, including The Pre-Biblical Narrative Tradition (Society of Biblical Literature, 1989) and Stories in Scripture and Inscriptions: Comparative Studies on Narratives in Northwest Semitic Inscriptions and the Hebrew Bible (Oxford University Press, 1997).
