Thomas W. Davis

Thomas W. Davis is a Professor of Archaeology and Biblical Backgrounds at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He directs Southwestern Baptist’s excavation program at Kourion, Cyprus, an early Christian site.  He has written a history of the field of biblical archaeology, Shifting Sands: The Rise and Fall of Biblical Archaeology (Oxford University Press, 2004).
