W. Benson Harer Jr.

W. Benson Harer practiced obstetrics/gynecology for more than 30 years in San Bernardino, California. He has lectured extensively on health care in ancient Egypt and has published a number of articles, including one in Obstetrics and Gynecology on Pereshet, the first known female physician, who lived in Egypt in 2500 B.C.E.  He is now retired and lives in Seattle.
