Yiyi Chen

Yiyi Chen is one of the foremost scholars of the Bible in China and Director of the Institute for Hebrew and Jewish Studies at the University of Peking.  He wrote the standard Chinese Hebrew textbook for college students and his translation of A.B. Yehoshua’s novel Three Days and A Baby into Chinese won the Israel Institute for the Translation of Hebrew Literature’s Annual Prize in 1994.
