Yoel Elitzur

Yoel Elitzur is retired from teaching at Herzog College in Jerusalem and the Hebrew University.   He specializes in the history of Israel and the Hebrew language, on which he has published some 50 articles. His book Ancient Place Names in the Land of Israel: Preservation and History was published in 2009.
