Zeʼev Meshel

Ze’ev Meshel is a Senior Lecturer in Archaeology for the Institute of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University, where he has worked since 1975. He led the excavation of the well-known desert site of Kuntillet ‘Ajrud and is an expert in the Sinai and agriculture of the desert. His current research focuses on desert fortresses and water supply.
