Zefira Gitay

Zefira (Tzfira) Gitay, born in Israel, studied archaeology and Jewish history at Hebrew University.   She has taught art history at universities in Israel and South Africa, most recently at Ben Gurion University and the Yisrael Valley College.   Her writing has focused on Bible stories in art.
