Timothy P. Harrison (“The Battleground”) is associate professor of Near Eastern archaeology at the University of Toronto. He has directed excavations at Tell Madaba in Jordan and Tell Tayinat, Turkey.
K. Lawson Younger, Jr. (“Israelites in Exile,”) is professor of Old Testament, Semitic languages and ancient Near Eastern history at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois and co-editor The Context of Scripture (Brill, 1997–2002).
Trude Dothan (“Philistine Fashion,”), a pioneer in Israeli archaeology, is a world-renowned expert on the Philistines. Her many digs include Tel Miqne (Biblical Ekron), which she co-excavated with Seymour Gitin.
