Ian Stern (“A World Below: The Caves of Maresha”) is director of the Archaeological Seminars Institute in Israel. He received his Ph.D. in archaeology from Bar-Ilan University and has been excavating at Maresha under the auspices of the Israel Antiquities Authority for more than 25 years.
Archaeologist and art historian Irit Ziffer (“Portraits of Ancient Israelite Kings?”) is the curator of ceramic and metals at the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv.
Anthony J. Frendo (“Was Rahab Really a Harlot?”) is professor of Near Eastern archaeology and Hebrew Bible in the department of classics and archaeology at the University of Malta, where he was formerly the department chair. He is currently also the Maltese Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malta.
