D. Moody Smith (“John—Historian or Theologian?”) is George Washington Ivey Professor Emeritus of New Testament at Duke University. His interest in the Gospel of John has extended throughout his career and he has written several books on the subject, including The Theology of the Gospel of John (Cambridge, 1995) and John among the Gospels (Univ. of South Carolina Press, 2001).
Bryan Bibb (“What’s a Pleasing Sacrifice?”) is currently finishing his Ph.D. at Princeton Theological Seminary and is in his fifth year of teaching courses in Hebrew Bible at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. His book God’s Servants, the Prophets will be published in the Spring by Smyth and Helwys.
