One of the world’s foremost experts on Roman-period amphoras, Elizabeth Lyding Will (“‘My Blood of the Covenant’: What Did the Apostles Drink at the Last Supper?”) is a professor emeritus of classics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and author of “The Roman Amphora: Learning from Storage Jars,” AO 03:01. Co-author Nicholas K. Rauh is an associate professor of history at Purdue University; he has been co-director of the Rough Cilicia Regional Archaeological Survey Project since 1995. Nancy Serwint (“Cyprus’ Jewel by the Sea”) is associate professor of art at Arizona State University.
