BAR Scholarships Send Diggers to Biblical Sites
Excavations are powered by countless volunteers who bring their enthusiasm, skills and strength to the trenches. This past summer BAR awarded scholarships of $1,000 each to 24 qualified volunteers who would not otherwise have been able to participate.
This year’s winners were chosen from a pool of more than 120 applicants. This diverse group includes students and working professionals who have been accepted to dig at sites throughout Israel, Jordan and Cyprus.
