Josephine A. Verduci, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Melbourne, is this year’s winner of the Sean W. Dever Memorial Prize. Her paper, “A Feather in Your Cap: Symbols of Philistine Warrior Status,” was presented at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the American Schools of Oriental Research in Baltimore. Verduci is a Ph.D. candidate in the Classics and Archaeology Department at the University of Melbourne.
