Amnon Rosenfeld, an emeritus geophysicist with the Geological Survey of Israel whose obituary appeared in the November/December 2014 issue of BAR,a published an important article that appeared shortly after he was killed in an automobile accident; the article documents the unsavory efforts of the Israel Antiquities Authority illegitimately to establish that the Jehoash Inscription and the James Ossuary Inscription are forgeries.
