Ze’ev Meshel, renowned archaeologist and passionate desert explorer, passed away on December 14, 2024. He was 92 years old. Meshel was born in Tel Aviv to parents who had immigrated from Poland. After his military service, he pursued his studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
