Some changes have occurred in the digs listing since the January/February issue. The deadline for BAS dig scholarship applications is now March 5, 2007.
The Yavneh Yam excavations will run from July 15 to August 10. Please contact Ilan Shachar (ilansh@netvision.net.il) for information. The Apollonia-Arsuf excavation has decided to join the dig at Yavneh Yam led by director Moshe Fischer.
Another volunteer opportunity will be available at Tel Bet Yerah on the Sea of Galilee near Tiberias from June 24 to July 28. The site features a large fortified Early Bronze Age settlement. Contact Sarit Paz (pazsarit@post.tau.ac.il) for more information on how to volunteer.
