Endnote 1 – Is “Secret Mark” a Forgery? Read the Latest Report

Most prominently, Craig Evans and Peter Jeffery. We have printed Professor Jeffery’s lengthy letter to the editor on our Web site. In it he admits that Ms. Anastasopoulou’s report “does raise the bar for those who argue that Smith penned [Secret Mark] in his own hand (a claim I never made myself).” Jeffery then speculates that Smith had an “unknown Greek accomplice.” He also lists other possibilities.
