Endnote 2 – Scholar Claims Bible Scholars Suppress Palestinian History in Favor of Israelites

Whitelam likes to call this ancient Canaanite civilization Palestinian civilization. He relies on the fact that the land where the ancient Canaanites lived is often referred to as Palestine. The use of Palestine for the land inhabited by the Canaanites is, of course, an anachronism that scholars use, even though there would be no Palestine for more than a millennium, as the least unsatisfactory designation of this geographical area during its entire ancient history.
