The births of Isaac (from Sarah: Philo On the cherubim 45; compare Genesis 21:1), Reuben (from Leah: Philo Cherubim 46; compare Genesis 29:31), Jacob and Esau (from Rebecca: Philo, Cherubim 47; compare Genesis 25:21) and Gershom (from Zipporah, the wife of Moses: Philo, Cherubim 47; compare Exodus 2:22)—all according to Philo were caused by God without a human father.
