In this photo, just below the standing stones, is a 1.5-foot-wide altar made of heavily burned clay. In the center of the temple is a plaster hearth, painted red and bordered by seven small stones. Built into the temple wall that faces the standing stones (to the right in the photo) is a large anthropomorphic stone (upper right). The top of this stone is sculpted into a stylized human head; on each side of the head are sloping shoulders.
