Wadjyt: Usually depicted as a cobra, Wadjyt (meaning the “Green One”) is sometimes shown with the head of a lioness and a cobra crown, as in this sixth- to fourth-century B.C. bronze statue, now in the Louvre. As a cobra, she is a tutelary deity of Lower Egypt—and she appears on the crown of the pharaohs as the uraeus.
