John Russell

This fragment was removed from the Palace Site Museum after Russell photographed it in 1989–1990 (compare with photos of two additional wall carvings). An anonymous representative of an antiquities dealer asked Russell to identify the piece from a photograph. It shows the aftermath of a battle, with two dead sheep and a dead man floating in water.
