In 1997 four more Roman-period shipwrecks were found at Skerki Bank, the reef between Sicily and Tunisia where the Isis was found. One of these wrecks, called Skerki D, yielded 13 distinct types of amphoras (shown here, compare with photo of seven-gallon wine vessel).
