Thousands of years ago, a Mesopotamian artisan made this 6.5-inch-high ornamental handle depicting two naked women standing back to back. The gold-plated, ivory handle is precisely carved with detailed renderings of the figures’ bracelets, breasts, faces and headdresses. This object has not been reported stolen.
