The Inghirami family’s tutor, Father Domenico Vadorini, created this fold-out map of the Scornello hill for Curzio Inghirami’s book, Ethruscarum Antiquitatum Fragmenta. As shown on the map, the family villa, Scornello (labeled “1”), was just a few hundred feet from “Prospero’s citadel” (labeled “2”, “3” and “4”), where Curzio salted purportedly Etruscan documents and objects.
