An Etruscan tomb, filled with sarcophagi carved with images of Volterrans who died during the second and first centuries B.C., was discovered on the Inghirami property a little over 200 years ago. The photo shows an exact replica of the so-called Inghirami Tomb in the garden of the Museo Archeologico in Florence (the sarcophagi, however, are authentic).
