The drawing on the left is an outline section drawing of the burner showing the body of the burner (cross hatched), the stumpy legs (of which there are four) and the shallow basin carved out of the top. (The dotted line over the top indicates that the sides of the basin—which reach the top of the drawing on the left and right—in fact go all the way around the basin, forming a basin rather than a trough. The four panels on the right show the carvings on each of the burner’s four sides. The zigzag lines are common decorations on similar burners. The right hand panel has a palm tree. The middle panel contains the inscription.
