The royal mikveh or ritual bath, used by the late Hasmonean kings and high priests. In the upper right-hand corner is the base of a stone bathtub. Below the bathtub in the walkway to the mikveh, on the right-hand edge of the picture, part of the mosaic pictured below can be seen.
