A reconstruction, carefully based on the excavated remains, of the western and southern walls of the Temple Mount during the Herodian Period. On the Temple Mount is the Royal Stoa. Around the Temple Mount, from left to right, is a bridge leading to the Upper City, a stairway from the valley up to the Temple Mount, the royal stairway and plaza (the so-called pilgrim’s route) leading up to the Temple Mount.
